I practice with a hybrid online/in-person method, which means we'll work together in the gym for necessary evaluation and progress checks, but we progress online with the help of a dedicated app. Through the app, we set and progress your exercise plan, track any metric we need in order to meet your goals, and perform weekly check ins.
I use a hybrid practice model for a very specific reason. Over the past four years, I have practiced in outpatient orthopedic, skilled nursing, and home health settings. The MOST overt barrier to clients improving is difficulty following through in the long run. It's kinda like flossing or folding laundry, we know we need to do it, but sometimes we don't do the thing we ought to. Accountability is the key to accomplishing your goals!
That’s why I practice the way I do! I’ve taken some of the time that clients typically waste at PT sessions doing the exact same things 2-3x/week, and reallocated that time to every-day accountability. It's more efficient with your time, your recovery, and long-term viability of your results. We progress as you need to, every day, for as long as you need.
I do not take insurance. I prefer to work for you, not your insurance company. This assures we can work on whatever YOU need. I do, however, provide a superbill at the end of your plan that you can submit to your insurance for direct reimbursement. Reimbursement rates vary based on the insurance company and specific plan.
There is! Online visits are a great option for those who live out of town or have a very tough schedule. In-person visits are substituted with virtual calls.
